Khwopa Poly-Technic Institute, the first community based technical college undertaken by Bhaktapur Municipality and soundly driven by the educationist and intellectuals as well as supported by the people of Bhaktapur.
With a distant vision of maintaining Bhaktapur's hard-won glory, the college aims to produce highly skilled engineers that will have blends of both indigenous and modern-day technologies. In this regard, the college is aiming to provide quality education in the engineering in the engineering fields which are of prime importance for the development of country.
Bhaktapur Municipality will continue to accomplish its responsibility to provide higher education people of common economic strata. For this, we will continue our effort on adding new academic programs enhancing the research excellence in the areas suitable for local national and international issues.

Admission Requirements
In order to start off admission in Khwopa Polytechnic Institute, students should pass entrance examination conducted by CTEVT and must have completed SEE with a minimum GPA.
